The Cedar Hill Economic Development Corporation is thrilled to announce its annual fall workshop series which will present a range of small business subject matter topics to assist business owners with professional development and enhancement.
The Back to Business Fall Workshop series is sponsored by the Cedar Hill Chamber of Commerce and the Cedar Hill Economic Development Corporation. The two-part series will take place on October 16 and October 23, with the first workshop kicking with “How to Fund Your Big Idea.” Presented by Frost Bank + Impact Ventures, attendees will learn tips on maximizing their finances while prepping their businesses to scale upward. As businesses prepare for Q4 sales and the busiest time of year, the “Sleigh Your Holiday Strategy” workshop will target marketing opportunities and organizational tools that businesses can use to leverage annual sales.
In addition to attending in-person, attendees can opt to be part of the interactive, audience-driven webinar right in the comfort of their own homes. Each hybrid workshop series involves a 3 hour Vimeo or in-person session where business owners and entrepreneurs will work with designated facilitators, receive hands-on assistance, and hear expert advice on marketing tactics, business planning, financial strategy, social media planning, and more.
“Business resources and community support are fundamental building blocks that help small businesses get back to not only surviving, but thriving,” said Cedar Hill EDC Interim Director, Andy Buffington. “We want to give more small business owners the opportunity to attend and learn what they need to know to be successful this fall. This virtual workshop gives us the opportunity to do so safely.”
The workshops will also connect participants with resources available from the larger community—including long-term support through the Cedar Hill Chamber of Commerce and the Cedar Hill Economic Development Corporation.
This free workshop isn’t just for Cedar Hill residents, but all business owners or hopeful business owners in the region.Reservations are required, as slots are limited. For more information or to register, visit https://www.cedarhillworkshops.com.
